Juvenile Justice Advisor

Appointed by the Governor, as the advisor on national, state, regional, metropolitan, and local government planning as it relates to juvenile justice policy for the State of Oklahoma. Responsible for the implementation of the federal Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act which provided funds to states to improve the juvenile justice systems. Advised the Governor on priorities for granting federal juvenile delinquency funds and improving the juvenile system. Reader for the U.S. Department of Justice, OJJDP, the award administrator of grants that promote research and program evaluation of the juvenile system. Provided analysis, accountability, recommendations, and supervision for state and federal juvenile justice monies. Tasked with transformational promotion and development of the juvenile justice system for federal compliance, as well as responding to inquiries by constituents, media, and other interested parties.


Post Adjudication Review – Juvenile Services

Was responsible for conducting Internal Audits of all State juvenile adjudication service agencies and functionaries. Through staff and administrative interviews, investigations and audits, conducted evaluation of services, corrected deficiencies in records and performance, and advised the Judiciary, Governor and Agency Directors of Action Plans, Policy Amendments and Corrective Action.

Advise on issue campaigns and candidate campaigns. Communications, issue research and strategies with a goal of channeling the public’s energy to our clients’ cause. Work for underdog groups and candidates in grassroots efforts. Campaigns include, tax reform groups, public employee groups, municipal and school board campaigns. Candidate campaigns include congress, state house and senate, county offices to include commissioner, sheriff and county attorney in Oklahoma and Kansas.
